OUR TEAM

Meet Beverley Anderson!
A Registered Social Worker with G&G.

As a Registered Social Worker with 30 years of clinical experience, I aim to offer counselling sessions that are dynamic and collaborative, wherein we will have therapeutic conversations fueled by compassionate curiosity in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment. My approach is holistic, relational and pragmatic, with an infusion of humour as needed. My greatest hope is to empower you with transferable skills to live a fulfilling life that is congruent with your values.

I offer a strengths-based, trauma-informed and attachment-informed therapeutic approach that is best described as eclectic. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) and Mindfulness approaches to gain real and achievable clinical results. With the collection of my formal training, I offer comprehensive and compassionate care.

My personal journey with counselling began in my adolescence after difficult losses placed me on the path of deeply getting to know myself and healing from the inside out. My experience with a trusted and skillful clinician highlighted the beautiful change that unfolds within therapy and inspired me to become a therapist. Based on both my personal and professional lived experiences, I deeply believe in the transformative power of a counselling relationship where there is a goodness of fit.

In my work with both individuals and couples, I have honed into the importance of developing a strong container of safety to explore the more intricate and challenging aspects of life. My extensive experience and training in bereavement allows me to strongly support individuals going through grief and loss, such as the passing of a loved one, the loss of an unborn child, or the loss of a relationship. Additionally, I work well with individuals seeking parental support, who are experiencing anxiety, or who are wanting a deeper understanding of their intimate relationships.

If you feel I may be the right fit for you, I would love to connect! I sincerely look forward to working with you.
